Would anyone like to share final results and lessons from commercial linear lighting projects?

I’m collecting case studies of commercial linear lighting projects and would love to see real, completed project showcases from the community.

If you’ve worked on any of the following, feel free to share:

Café or restaurant linear lighting

Public corridor or common area strip lighting

Bar counters, walls, or ceiling linear lights

I’m particularly interested in:

  1. Application scenario and lighting goals

  2. LED strip type and installation method

  3. Final lighting effect and client feedback

  4. Challenges encountered and how they were solved

  5. What you would improve if doing the project again

Photos, videos, or before/after comparisons are highly welcome.
Looking forward to real project reflections rather than theory. Thanks!

We completed a café linear lighting renovation project last year, and the overall results and client feedback were very positive. Here’s a brief project summary.

Project background

Application: Café bar counter and ceiling linear lighting

Goal: Create a warm, layered atmosphere while ensuring sufficient task lighting

Solution & products

LED strip: 24V COB strip, high CRI (≥90)

Installation: Recessed aluminum profile with opal diffuser

Color temperature: 3000K

Final result:The lighting appeared continuous with no visible dots. Brightness across the bar area was even, and the client was satisfied with both ambiance and functionality.

Challenges encountered

  • Initial aluminum profile depth was insufficient, requiring power adjustment

  • Local glare issues near reflective surfaces, resolved through angle fine-tuning

Lessons learned

1.Prioritize CRI and glare control in commercial spaces

2.Confirm aluminum profile dimensions before installation

3.Choose color temperature based on function, not preference alone

Overall, attention to detail made a significant difference in the final outcome.
