I’m currently planning an LED display project and still in the stage of clarifying requirements and comparing solutions. The project can be summarized as follows:

Application scenarios include:

Indoor commercial displays
Semi-outdoor storefront or entrance-facing areas
Viewing distance is approximately 2–8 meters, depending on the area
Display content mainly includes brand videos, promotional information, and dynamic text
The overall solution should be flexible, allowing size or layout adjustments in the future

I’d love to hear from people with real-world planning or implementation experience:

  1. In a single project with both close and mid-range viewing distances,
    is it more practical to use one unified pixel pitch or configure different pitches by area?
  2. When it comes to size planning, is it better to finalize the dimensions early,
    or prioritize a modular, expandable design?
  3. For areas near storefronts or exposed to ambient daylight,
    does brightness need to be noticeably higher than standard indoor displays? Are there any practical benchmarks?
  4. Do non-traditional display forms such as hologram fans or cube displays
    work better as primary visual elements, or as supplementary displays?
  5. During the solution design stage, which factors are most often overlooked,
    such as splicing methods, maintenance access, control system compatibility, or upgrade costs?
