From my experience, warm white and soft pink are the hardest to mess up if the sign is on for long periods. They’re easy on the eyes and don’t feel tiring after a while.
Red and deep blue look great in photos, but in real life they can feel intense, especially in smaller spaces. I’ve seen a few installs where people ended up dimming them way down or not turning them on as often.
For home use, I usually stick to warmer or softer tones.
For commercial spaces, bolder colors make more sense since they’re more about grabbing attention than comfort.
