Has anyone actually used these LED signs in a shop? How was it?

I’m thinking about putting an LED sign at my storefront (like an OPEN or WELCOME sign), since I’ve seen a lot of businesses using them lately.

I’m a bit on the fence though — not sure if it’s really worth it in daily use.
For those who’ve tried them:

  • Do they mainly stand out at night, or are they noticeable during the day too?

  • Did you feel your shop became easier to notice after installing one?

That’s a great question, and it’s one many shop owners ask before installing a sign.

Based on real usage feedback, LED signs do a good job of clearly signaling that a shop is open, especially at entrances and storefronts.
They tend to stand out naturally as lighting conditions change throughout the day, and are especially noticeable in the evening.

Many users also mention that their storefront becomes easier to recognize, particularly for first-time passersby who may not be familiar with the location.

Overall, when placed well, LED signs work reliably as a long-term visual cue and fit comfortably into daily use.
