Can I connect LED strip sections with different resistor markings?

I have a question about the resistors on my LED strip lights. If the resistor markings are different, does that affect anything when connecting strip sections together?

I’m trying to repair some dead spots on my strip lights, but I want the replacement sections to have the same brightness strength and wavelength. The white LED strips I already have are also dimmable.

Can I make sure the replacement strips will match properly?

Thank you for your message.

Regarding the resistors and connecting different strip sections together, our IR strip lights are cuttable, and each complete segment operates at DC 12V.

As long as the connected strips are all running on 12V, they can generally be used together without issues.

For the white LED strip you already have, mixing strips from different suppliers may cause a slight visual color difference, which is normal and may be noticeable to the eye.

We just want to make sure you have the right expectation before connecting them.
