Hi everyone, I want to connect different IR LED strip lights together, but I’m not sure if this will affect the brightness, wavelength, or dimming function.
The strips should all be DC12V, but I want them to have the same strength and wavelength after connecting. My current white LED strip is also dimmable, so I’m wondering if the dimming will still work properly.
Has anyone tried mixing different LED strips before? Any advice would be appreciated.

Our IR LED strip lights are designed to work with DC12V power input, and each complete cuttable section can operate normally at DC12V.
In general, different LED strips can be connected together as long as they have the same voltage requirement. However, if the strips are different models, wavelengths, or from different suppliers, the brightness or output intensity may not be exactly the same.
If you want the strips to have the same strength and wavelength, we recommend using the same model and the same wavelength as much as possible.
For dimming, please also make sure all connected strips are compatible with the same dimmer and DC12V power supply. Different strips may not dim at exactly the same level, especially if their power consumption or LED specifications are different.
Before connecting everything together, we suggest testing a small section first to check the brightness, color/output, and dimming effect.
