Can a 395-405nm UV Black Light LED Strip Be Used in a Temperature-Controlled Environment?

We are planning to install a 395-405nm UV Black Light LED Strip in a temperature-controlled environment for fluorescent effects and inspection lighting.
What is the recommended operating temperature range for this type of UV Black Light LED Strip? If it runs for extended periods in colder or warmer conditions, will it affect brightness or lifespan?

Thank you for your question.

The recommended operating temperature range for this 395-405nm UV Black Light LED Strip is -20°C to 75°C, which makes it suitable for most indoor and temperature-controlled environments.

For applications such as fluorescent displays, inspection lighting, stage effects, night fishing, and decorative lighting, the strip should perform normally as long as the ambient temperature remains within this range.

While the strip is designed to operate at higher temperatures, prolonged exposure to heat may accelerate lumen depreciation and reduce overall LED lifespan. For best results, we recommend providing adequate ventilation and avoiding completely sealed installations with limited airflow.

If the installation area is exposed to humidity, moisture, or outdoor conditions, the IP65 waterproof version is recommended. For standard indoor environments, the non-waterproof version is usually sufficient.
