Hi, quick question. I’m thinking about putting this under cabinet light above my desk and maybe using it for reading at night. Is it bright enough for that or more like just ambient light?
Yeah, it’s definitely bright enough for reading. The 16 inch version puts out around 500 lumens with 96 LEDs, so it’s pretty clear and even, not dim or spotty. If you switch to the 6000K daylight setting, it feels nice and crisp for books or close work. You can also dim it if it feels too bright. The frosted cover helps a lot too, no glare or harsh light.
