Anyone willing to share real installation results from shopping mall LED display projects?

I’m currently collecting case studies of shopping mall LED display projects and would love to see some real, completed project showcases from the community.

If you’ve worked on any of the following, feel free to share:

Large LED screens in mall atriums or façades

Storefront or signage displays

Indoor information or advertising screens

I’m especially interested in:

Screen specifications (size, pixel pitch, indoor/outdoor)

Mounting method (wall-mounted, suspended, recessed, etc.)

Final visual effect and client feedback

Key challenges during installation or commissioning

What you would improve if doing the project again

Photos, videos, or before/after comparisons are highly welcome.
Looking forward to real-world experiences rather than theoretical discussions. Thanks!

We completed a shopping mall atrium LED display project last year, with good overall performance and client feedback. Here’s a brief overview.

Project overview

  • Application: Main visual display in mall atrium

  • Screen type: Indoor P2.5, approx. 6m × 4m

  • Content: Brand advertising and promotional information

Mounting method

A steel structure with suspended installation was used to position the screen centrally within the atrium.

Visual results

Under standard mall lighting, brightness and color performance were stable. Viewing comfort was good at both short and long distances.

Challenges during installation

  • Multiple rounds of viewing distance and aspect ratio confirmation

  • High installation height requiring precise suspension alignment

  • Fine-tuning brightness uniformity during commissioning

Lessons learned

  • Allow sufficient space for future maintenance

  • Coordinate early with interior design and fire safety teams

  • Confirm content resolution during the design phase

Overall, mall LED projects rely heavily on planning and coordination, not just the display hardware.
