CRI (Color Rendering Index) measures how accurately colors appear under a light source compared with natural light.
A higher CRI means the lighting can show colors more naturally and accurately.
Generally:
CRI above 80 is suitable for most homes, offices, and general lighting applications.
CRI above 90 is recommended for places where color accuracy is important, such as retail stores, galleries, studios, and display areas.
A low CRI may cause colors to look less natural, washed out, or slightly distorted.

I didn’t pay attention to CRI when buying my first LED tubes. Later I realized the room looked different even though the brightness was the same.
