I’m thinking about ordering my first custom LED neon sign, mainly for home décor, and I wanted to hear from people who already have one.

I’ve been doing some research, but the more I read, the more questions I have

Here’s what I’m currently considering:

  • Use: probably for a bedroom or small living space

  • Design: short text like “Good Vibes” or “Cheers” — not sure if adding a small symbol makes it look better or just too busy

  • Color: I like blue and purple, but I’m worried they might be too bright at night

  • Size: this is the part I’m most unsure about — photos online make everything look bigger than it really is

I’ve noticed most LED neon signs are USB powered, which seems convenient, but I’m curious how bright they actually are in real life.

For those who already own a custom LED sign:

  • Did you go with text only or text + symbol?

  • Any color recommendations for night-time use?

  • Did you ever regret the size you ordered?
